Instructions

These instructions will show you how to get started editing your website. If you are just beginning with Webflow, I recommend you to take Webflow 101 Crash Course first so you understand the basics of using the software.

Adding a project on the Work page

Limiting items in our collection lists to achieve a randomised grid effect
01. First, add your new project in the CMS Collection named Projects.
02. From the Work page, duplicate an existing collection list in the navigator, for example Tenth List Wrapper
03. Selecting the new Collection List duplicate, using the style selector, duplicate the class name Tenth List Wrapper so that it changes to Tenth List Wrapper Copy. Rename this to Eleventh List Wrapper. Repeat this step for Tenth List class and Tenth Item Class so that they correspond with the correct number.
04. Select Eleventh List Wrapper element, go to its settings in the right navigator. Under the checked Limit Items box, replace Start at: 10 to Start at: 11.

05. To edit the position of the project thumbnail, select Eleventh Item and choose flex > align right/centre/left of the page.
06. By default, each image is 50% width of the viewport. If you find your image to be too big, select Eleventh Item and adjust the Width (60-90%).
